The Association supports the families left behind and gathers each year to remember every name on the roll of honor.

ASA Survivor Fund

The Survivor Fund provides direct financial assistance to the spouses and children of Arkansas sheriffs and deputies killed in the line of duty — helping with immediate expenses, educational costs, and ongoing support as families rebuild.

How Contributions Help

Gifts from members, sponsors, and the public go directly to survivor families, with no administrative fee deducted from individual gifts. Contributions can be made in memory of a specific officer or to the general fund.

Ways to Contribute

Donate online, mail a check to the Association office, or ask about workplace giving and memorial tribute gifts. Contact ASA staff for wire or estate-giving instructions.

Annual Memorial Service

The Association holds an Annual Memorial Service each spring at the state Capitol grounds in Little Rock, in step with National Police Week. Sheriffs, deputies, and their families from across all 75 counties gather alongside state officials, honor guards, and the public to read the roll of honor and lay a wreath in remembrance.
